A little apartment with a lot of space for two people. Comfortable bed, a separated living room with nice chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. Near the center, so you don't need your car and everything there is reachable on foot. Clean. And super friendly staff and manager!

An older Motel though rather tired looking seems to have had some recent interior maintenance and tidy up. Basic lower end appliances, incl tv, furniture and bar heater. Rowdy flooring in Kitchen/lounge area. Unit had wifi issues with some problems also with TV reception. Clean and very well serviced with friendly attendance by local manager. Seemed a reasonably convenient budget type facility suited to short term stay.

Beggars can’t be choosers in our case as we got the last available unit. Getting used to it during this NZ holiday season. Book early if you can. Our unit was at the bottom and distinctly smaller than the other units. Pretty tight quarters inside. All’s well that ends well though, as it met basic needs and the staff was very friendly.
