I remember driving by this hotel/motel many times as a kid. They owners have put a lot of work into it to up date it. The bar and restaurant are really nice. The breakfast is good. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.
It is a nice place to stay if you are traveling through Lamar.

This hotel is phenomenal! I love the decor, the size of the rooms, the team and the amazing plants. I would’ve liked to have some space to put our shaving and make up kits by the sink, but there’s no space. In addition there is no closet to hang anything up. I would love to see some better toilet paper as well.

First the staff......very accommodating, attentive and warm. The hotel is renovated and quite impressive. Breakfast was great!
Then....my recommendations-
My husband and i stayed in an accessible room that was not so accessible. The room was very clean, beautiful and well appointed. But the big beautiful bathroom needed some changes to be truly accessible. I wrote these down and left my suggestions for the management.

The hotel was great.. if you have large suitcases or health issues, there is no elevator on premise. Make sure to ask for first floor!

We stayed here many years ago and it was a total dive. The remodel and upgrades they have done are top notch. It's well worth a retry if you haven't been in awhile.

Exceedingly noisy. The layout of the hotel doesn't take into account the extreme noise from the restaurant. It's like an echo chamber. What a waste of my time and money. I doubt I will get any sleep tonight. I'm very disappointed.

The rooms were oddly shaped ans the resturant is a little strange, but it's very clean ans overall a decent hotel. Just don't go expecting to find a lot od places arouns to eat.

The room smelled horrible, while trying to get breakfast, our room was cleaned by staff, removing sheets, bedding, and towels before we checked out. Unable to shower after eating and coming back to find everything was gone three hours prior to checkout. I would not stay here again nor ever suggest anyone does it is not worth the headaches of dealing with this place.

I was blown away by the opulence of a newly remodeled "cow town" hotel. It was nice even by Denver standards. Thomas, front desk was incredibly helpful. The suite has a shower bigger than most bathrooms and a claw foot tub!

I consider myself a traveler. Big cities and little towns. This place would be at the top of my recommendations for a place to stay. Spacious room, comfortable bed and couch. Our stay was in a suite with our dog.
Many choices for the breakfast, delicious dinner and drinks at the restaurant.

What a fun place! The rooms were clean and modern, the staff was amazing, and it had such a cool atmosphere. We loved the restaurant - amazing food!

So much better than a standard hotel, great place for the kids or a weekend getaway!
