Really enjoyed our stay it's quite a walk back and forth to the old town. But this keeps you out of the crowds which can be quite brutal in Kyoto. You're very close to the big shopping area. Room was a decent size, and a sharp contrast to Osaka and Tokyo where accommodation is really pokey at this price point. Very easy to recommend.

Everything was good. 3 points though: 1- On Tuesdays their rest/breakfast is closed!!
