Angler motorcycle trip 2025

We had a nice adventurous stay! It was in the country, enjoyed the river view, the food was very good. We stayed for two nights but the restaurant was only open on Sunday (it was nice they recognized Mother’s Day with a carnation and dinner specials)! Monday they were closed. Went to another restaurant down the road. When on motorcycles it’s nice to eat in on the premises especially due to rain. They were kind enough to let us borrow their vehicle to tour the area and to go to dinner! Thank you for your hospitality!! I would stay here again and maybe go fishing! The bathrooms are a little small and could use a little updating otherwise than that a quaint little place!

Hotel rooms could use a little updating and the outside stairs could use cleaning.

Angler’s

Nice place with a great view of the White River. Excellent restaurant. Some of the best food and service I have had at any restaurant. The bed could be better, but all else was good.

My review is not about a stay, but about the customer service at Angler's. We were traveling through and about three hours before stopping for the night, I booked a night's stay here. Due to the set up of the place, the check in was closed when we arrived and we were not able to check in. I had booked this stay with a no refund policy. I tried calling, but there was no one to answer. We were very disappointed as this looked like such a unique place to stay and now we had no room for the night. We ended up having to go farther down the road to find somewhere to stay. It took a couple of phone calls, but I was able to speak with a few very kind women who took great care of me. They refunded my money without hesitation after hearing what happened. Beware that this is not a normal hotel with 24-hour check in. You will want to make sure ahead of time that you will be able to get into your room. However, due to the customer service and the attraction of the place, we are going to try to re-book at some point and stay here.

Room was tiny but overall I give it 4 would have been a 5 if room larger and had clothes hanging area NOT over fridge/microwave

Positive: Very scenic setting, right on the White River and a good restaurant. Negative: Room had a terrible mattress, very small bathroom with no hair dryer.
Roger, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Pros: Enjoyed relaxing, semi-private view of water from deck with chairs attached to room. Can swim and rent boat at property. Cons: Beds are a little worn.

Anglers will feel right at home.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean (but very old). Space is very tight in room and bath. Staff was terrific. If you are looking for a low frills place to sleep in a beautiful area, this is for you. A little rugged but that’s what I was expecting from a fishing outfitter.

Nice place, but needed a coffee maker in room. Does not provide shampoo or body wash., only two small hand soaps.

It’s not a bad place to stay on a budget. We had a great view of the river from the shared balcony of our room. The trash was overflowing in the entrance and there was no lighting going up and down the stairs at night but it still wasn’t bad. They have a little store and restaurant where you check in. The young lady working the desk was very nice and friendly. The store was small but nice. Unfortunately the restaurant opens late because breakfast and coffee would have been great.

Nice area. Room floor was filthy. Beds were comfy. Shower curtain had mildew.

The owners fixed my mistake of booking the wrong date on expedia because after backing out of the website then going back in the site itself set the date for me which was several weeks in advance to what i was needing

Older property. Motel rooms were small, bathroom tiny, clean enough. The restaurant does a brisk business, and the food is decent. Staff is a mixed bag - some friendly, some not so much. There is no pool, at least not where we were, but if they had one it’d probably be your basic cement pond. Nice location overlooking White River. Geared to fishermen, rafters, kayakers.
