We arrived the day of the blackout and even they had no electricity they managed to have a plan to let us check in. They went above and beyond. Breakfast amazing!!! This property is ideally located being an hour by train from Porto. The staff were helpful giving advice on restaurants and making bookings. There are in my opinion a number of excellent dining options within a very short walk of the hotel. Happily recommend this property.

Loved our large room and well-appointed fixtures. A huge breakfast buffet with something for everyone. The location is hard to beat if you travel by foot or cab ... I suspect car parking might be a challenge . The only complaint we have is the lack of light in the rooms ... no task light by the desk or reading chair, and very low wattage bulbs throughout.
