This place does not resemble a hotel or villa as it was portrayed on your website. Many of the images of the facilities displayed here are misleading; we were deceived by both the description and the photographs.
At the time of checking in, they drove me and my family for 10 minutes to find ourselves in a very dull condo (not a villa that I reserved). The pool was dirty. There was no views at all. It is just a dull and dark building, where you do not see the beauty of Sapanca (very different from the images posted to reflect this facility). I talked to the host (as this doesn’t look like a hotel), and told him that this is not what I reserved and requested him to move me to a unit that has been displayed in the images and he asked for 220$ extra. He refused to refund. So, I paid for a service that I didn’t use.
Hotels.com/Expedia should possess the autonomy and authority to safeguard their customers from such bad businesses. As a platinum customer for over 15 years,
I find it difficult to comprehend how your company allows customers to be subjected to scams of this nature. It is perplexing how this website place loyal customers at the mercy of unscrupulous businesses when it comes to obtaining refunds.
