Clean hotel, location ok
Check in was smooth, the room was big and clean and had streaming services on the TV for my kid. Bed was a little hard a a couple lumps and the room was pretty quiet except for the noise from outside was a bit loud. Downtown isn't the cleanest place, saw 5 homeless people in the area, but it was ok. Shower pressure was low

Modern, super clean hotel - a bit slow on 2 things
This hotel was spic and span, with the most modern bathroom and furniture design.
It is right near the boardwalk and the main fun streets
Two slow things
- Checking in took longer than average. What the heck are they writing down by hand?
- If you opt for breakfast, it is made to order from a menu, and took 10+ minutes to receive. We were the only ones in the dining area at 6:45 a.m., I cannot imagine if there are 3 families and 2 couples all wanting to eat at the same time. For $9, it was a decent price for a breakfast and coffee/tea
Parking was reasonable at $9/night

Room was not ready on time, apparently there was a staffing issue with housekeeping.
Awoken in middle of night by yelling outside. Not uncommon in downtown Nanaimo but perhaps better window soundproofing would have helped.
Otherwise a nice hotel up to the usual Marriott standards.

awesome location
The stay was amazing , slept great . I did not like the powder for creamer ,they did bring some creamer when asked . Due to their eco standards ,the condiments were not replenished or garbage emptied daily . We did have to ask for those needs to be met . Normally the garbage would not be a issue. We did have a toddler with us . Diapers and wipes .The staff was great, the pool was fun. Hot tub is lacking jet power . All in all ,excellent ++stay .
