Great stay

When we arrived the staff was so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The room was nice could see beverley town centre from our window. We had lovely breakfast. I can't wait to go back. The best of all free parking.

Friendly welcome and a spacious room

Very friendly welcome and a lovely, clean and very spacious room, the bathroom looked a little tired and if I was any taller than the 6’1 it would have been a real struggle to wash in the shower as there’s quite a low ceiling. Really comfy bed, only other criticism would be the position of the TV which was on a wall to the side of the bed and didn’t have a bracket so that you could turn it

Great hotel, very central

Hotel was lovely. Dissapointed that tea was not included with breakfast though and had to pay extra?

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ate evening meal also breakfast there and enjoyed both. Our stay was a Friday evening and our room was at the front of the hotel. We were woken at 4.50 am by the noise of them constructing the market stalls. We appreciate this isn’t anything the hotel is responsible for but it spoilt an enjoyable stay.

Stay here - 10/10

Stay here, I cannot stress enough how amazing my stay was. It was sad to say goodbye to the most lovely, helpful staff who felt like family. Incredible - Thank you especially to Lucy and Emily who couldn’t have done more. I will stay here again and so should you!

Worst nights sleep ever

Do not stay here on a Saturday night. The pub basically turns into some kind of club with ridiculously loud music until about 1am and you will not sleep because it is so loud. I wish someone had told me this on booking or check in, it’s ridiculously poor service. I was then also woken up at 6am due to things being dropped on the ceiling above me. If you want a good sleep, don’t go here!

Nice place

Staff very friendly & helpful. Room was boiling hot due to faulty radiators which couldn’t be fixed so was on full blast throughout our stay.

Comfortable relaxing stay

Stayed in the Lionheart suite which was very nicely decorated and welcoming. The room was very clean overall. The bath in the room was fab, could watch tv from the bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the bath took ages to fill and the tv location, was awkward to watch from bed as it was sideways on.

Kings Head

Stayed for one night, room was spacious, overlooking the market place. Bed was comfortable and large. Breakfast (extra) was a great start to the day and staff were friendly. There is a small car park at the back of the hotel, we were allowed to stay there after checking out so that we could wander around Beverley town centre the following morning - well worth it if you have time.

Nice looking room… not a good night sleep

We stayed in the “family” room which looked lovely. The main bed was good, however the 2nd bed was an old pull out sofa bed, which did not adequately fit 2 people, it had a dip in the middle, the mattress didn’t cover the metal frame and someone ended up having to sleep on the floor with no covers. There were also 2 large windows with no blind which meant from about 4.30am the light came in and woke the people who had managed to get any sleep up. There were only 2 cups provided for 4 people. The bathroom was nice and the member of staff who showed us the room was friendly. Sadly it was not a great night sleep, we are all tired and wouldn’t recommend staying as a family. The parking was a bit of a nightmare as well, although a member of staff did come out to assist with knowing where we could park. For the price this was quite upsetting that we didn’t manage to sleep and that the 2nd bed was no good.

Enjoyed my 2 night stay, but there is no lift, you have to walk the stairs, however the staff did carry my suitcase for me.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful. only issue was car parking. the pub/hotel had a small car park to the rear. cars needed to park in the square that was a pay and display free from 6pm-8am. but was a short stay park.

Very friendly staff. Our room overlooked the Square at the front. It was reasonably quiet although an alarm was going off from 2.00am. Room was spacious, big kingsize bed. We enjoyed our stay there.
