Such a cool place! Charming lobby and breakfast room, our guest room was small but comfortable. You are in a historic building so no elevator but the staff helps with luggage so the steep stairs add to the feeling of living in an Amsterdam house. The staff were all very kind and helpful, we had to leave before breakfast on our last day and the young man at the desk sent us off with a bag of fruit. Definitely not a cookie cutter corporate hotel but a unique experience and in a very central location. And bonus points for the resident kitties!

The hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is quite good. The location is fantastic. Access is up a long, narrow staircase to the welcoming lobby. My room was compact but comfortable. The bed was quite soft, a firmer mattress would be nice. The hotel was renovated in 2013 and is well maintained and clean. The cats are friendly

Had a wonderful stay, central location near to cafes, shops and restaurants. A stones throw away from the Anne Frank House too. Great breakfasts good continental selection. Loved the wee touches such as the pet cats, and ornaments etc. Look forward to a return visit.

Staff were very helpful, hotel very clean, and breakfast was great. The only downside is the stairs. There’s about 100 to the rooms and they are steep and narrow. Difficult to manage with bags. Within walking distance of the centre. Would definitely stay again.

The stairs are long and steep and other than small rooms, this place is a home from home with 2 resident friendly cats and an overall cozy atmosphere with lovely staff. The continental breakfast is a plenty too :) I was here 4 nights and will stay again.

What a beautiful hotel, the checkin was easy and staff were great, and there is a lounge where you could get free tea and coffee through the day, which came in handy when neededing a pit stop. A hiddden gem in the heart of Amsterdam♥️

Not only is this the best location to stay while you’re here, this hotel is awesome. The staff is nothing but helpful, friendly, and professional. The building is super well kept with an amazing balcony view from the lobby. The rooms are very nice and the beds are sooooo comfy. It was so enjoyable waking up every morning to the sound of the bell tower in the distances. The breakfast was also very good, every morning 7-10ish I believe. The stairs are a thing lol but that’s Amsterdam. The best thing is they have two cats that just hangout in the lobby and are soooo lovely and awesome(no cats around during breakfast time) if you love cats and awesome people in the best location in the city. Here ya go.

Property and staff are excellent, only negative are the very steep stairs and I was lucky to not be carrying heavy luggage. If you stay, then meet the two cats who roam the hotel, so cute.
