It was a beautiful hotel and the room was amazing. The staff were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. One tiny issue was the noise from rooms above late at night and early in the morning. It was very loud and did affect the quality of sleep. We were in room 402. The food at breakfast was brilliant. We will definitely be back.

Everything great, but it boils down to people.

Stayed here last July for just short of two weeks. Perfect home base for a slow visit. Liked the location, neighborhood, amenities, the breakfast, the clothes cleaning service. The room was fantastic, perfect for relaxing any part of hot days I decided to stay indoors. Mostly though I liked the staff. They were uniformly polite, professional and caring. Doesn’t it always boil down to people? That’s why I came back this year for a week. It was the right decision.

Expedia gave us an affordable option for our retiree budgets and the hotel and surroundings did not disappoint. Safe, beautiful and near a few tube lines and convenient to buses. Beautiful and clean but the shining stars are the members of the staff - so welcoming. Expedia offered us a great deal for this lovely small scale hotel.
