8/10 Very good

The location was perfect and a good base to get out and about from. The reception staff were very friendly. The twin room was good but compact. Very clean but carpet and furniture quite outdated. Ideal for a 2 night stay for us just to get our head down after a long and tiring day but wouldn’t have wanted to stay in such a small room any longer.

Surprisingly quiet for middle of london.

Surprisingly quiet neighborhood. Good room for the price, small, but doable. Reasonably kept up to date. Needs a deep clean though, our shower was quite mildewy. Good experience though, would return.

My stay was great, excellent hotel and so convenient

Adequate

Room adequate, clean, bed comfy, tea and coffee making facilities. Very noisy next to busy street and hot so had to keep window open.

The location was ideal for our Eurostar trip. The room was really very small for 2 of us but, for a 1 night stay, it was fine.

Small and fairly old but very welcoming

I stay here regularly. Rooms are small and fairly old but does the job for me and is always clean. In weather like this, really need an air-conditioned room but that's not the case very often in London! Staff always very welcoming.

6/10 Good

Nice staff but the room was quite small with no frills at all. Location was great for St Pancras station and plenty places to eat around there.

we didn’t really spend much time there, but for what we did good. great for those like us who are only there to sleep and shower. comfy bed, and close to a lot of things like food and Public Transport

A double room is ideal for one person only. Ideal for the train station. Our double room did not look like picture advertised. They need to put actual sizes of the rooms against them so you can see what you are getting.

Place is fine - meets requirements - but not what one would call spacious :)

Simple budget hotel, nice for solo travel

I booked a budget hotel in the centre of London, it was exactly as advertised. I booked a single room, it was small but that's all I needed. Very convenient location, a very short walkable disatnce to King's Cross station. Relaxed and laid back hotel, I had no issues. Nice hotel for a solo traveller, perfect for someone looking to see London on a budget - especially if you don't plan on staying in the hotel all day. I'm going to highlight the luggage storage facility they have. I checked out in the morning and collected my luggage that evening. Very convenient for getting the most out your visit!

I had a great stay at Wardonia Hotel. My room was modern and was cleaned with towels replaced every day. Staff were polite and professional. The location is excellent - down the street from King’s Cross and the tube station. I would stay here again!

As an overnight stay the Wardonia was perfect. I emailed to say I would be late checking in and they came back straight away. The person on reception was very polite and efficient - overall very good

A cosy room fit for purpose close to train station and underground great if you want a pit stop liked the view from the room.

Good location, clean, minimalist accomodations

Overall I'm very satisfied Stayed in a single room on a vacation. Though very small, the room is well maintained, clean and fresh towels were provided daily. This is a no frills accomodation - but for the price - it's very nice Proximity to train stations is super important.

Decent budget hotel for a few nights.

The hotel interior could do with some updating as it looked like it was outdated. The hallways are very narrow due to the design of the building, some stairs could do with a flat surface where the doors is to go downstairs or upstairs. Bathroom was okay, interior was run-down. The beds were very comforting, best pillows according to my mother she ever had! At least it had your usual things, a bathroom, a tv, kettle, some things for tea and coffee. Was also happy that the room size was decent as was worried according to other people's reviews that some rooms were very tiny but it wasn't for us!

Budget by all counts but great value. Small cramped rooms and hallways but perfectly clean, friendly staff and ultra convenient location.

Ideal for a quick night stop over for Eurostar. Check in good, functional room with towels and good coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Darren, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Basic but fine

The hotel looks very appealing from the outside. It is fairly basic inside but has all you need for a convenient base. I was in a basement room with a window that didn't close securely and had no lock. No safe in the room or available at reception. Bed was clean and comfortable and the shower was good.
5-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel is very convenient if you are catching a train early in the morning at Kings Cross or St Pancras. The double room and bathroom were clean. The room is on a small side for 2 people and 2 adults but manageable for one night. The bathroom is very narrow and small. The are plenty of restaurants/cafés in the area.
