We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, as was the hotel itself. The decor was a little tired, but that did not spoil our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice of food at breakfast, and we had an evening meal which was lovely. Location is great.

A stout building of local stone around 100 years old but reasonably well maintained and exceeding the excellent budget price expectations. Staff friendly and helpful, public areas clean and comfy. Room large for standard twin and great view of bowling green. Food good in the evening and breakfast. Well worth the money and a good night’s sleep, just what a hotel is for!

We had a lovely stay. Our room was super-clean and spacious. Delicious dinner and breakfast, with personal choices catered for very helpfully. We loved our return visit to this location as it is in an excellent location to enjoy exploring great historic and heritage locations nearby, along with lovely countryside and coastline. Staff all welcoming and work hard to help every guest.
