We found the hotel to be very clean. The beds were very comfortable, the linen also very clean and fresh. The staff were very polite and helpful organising taxis for us and replenishing tea and coffee as required. The room was a little small hence we have rated it good rather than excellent. We would happily return.

Lovely building and area perfect for our needs. Room was very compact and I'm pretty sure the bed was a small double rather a double but everything was beautifully clean. Plug sockets each side of the bed would have been handy but wasn't a deal breaker.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Very friendly staff. Comfortable, clean room and toilet. Very close to Paddington station and shops. I highly recommend Royal Cambridge Hotel for family who would like to stay in affordable yet comfortable spacious rooms.

Good price, great location but not clean enough

I would recommend if you are in a tight budget but still want to be in a good location, the room was okay a bit on the small side and the bed was clean although the pillow were very thin. My issue was the shower, it had mould around the edges and the drain which you can avoid stepping on but still unpleasant and the closet had some sort of fan but it was covered in dust along side the rest of the closet.

Decent hotel but my room was in the basement with no external window. It was fine, just wasn't made clear when I booked. As all the hotels on Sussex Gardens, the Cambridge is ideally located for travel to and from Paddington and onward to anywhere in London.

Nice location, and very close to Paddington station. No breakfast available, which is OK at the price. Some rooms in the cellar does not have windows to get fresh air. A/C not working, and it gets very hot, despite 2 fans operating at full power. Fresh bathroom, and very comfortable beds.
