Great location to the city centre and a 10 minute or less walk to the train station. The room was clean, comfortable beds. They allowed us to keep our bags after checking out. Friendly staff and smooth check in and out. The only issue was the AC was not working properly.

Great location, only around 10 minutes walk to the Duomo. Staff at reception were nice and they let us check-in slightly early as our room was ready. The room itself was clean, a decent size, and modern with a great aircon. Fantastic price for the location and room - would definitely recommend.

Clean & comfortable. Bed was bigger than expected. Breakfast was delicioys & an amazing value - don't skip this! Bathroom was small but modern & the plumping was great (awesome water pressure in shower). Was great for our short stay, but might feel small for a multiday trip.

Our family had 3 night at the hotel. Good and friendly service and clean rooms.! In the rooms we had on the 1th floor, you could hear everything: The A/C-ventilator, every step of the people on the hallway, workmen hammering somewhere in the building and the traffic.. We did expect some noise, but this was much!! Earplugs are recommended! The breakfast was ok, but due to rebuilding, there were lack of seats in the dining area, which in some mornings did, that some guest could not be seated. The hotel has a good location to walk to the entire city center

Bad smell on toilets

There was a really bad smell on toilets. Electric plugs was broken and there wasn’t enough plugs. AC could not turn off from room you need to go reservation desk for ask to turn it off. We did not repırt bad smell because it was so bad and there is no way that housekeeping could not see. But housekeeping servlce was good. One persob bed ls small and not comfortable.

Close to the Firenze sights!

I recently stayed at Hotel Galileo during my visit to Florence. While the hotel had its advantages, there were several issues that impacted my experience. On the positive side, the location is great. It’s conveniently situated near many of the historical sights, making it easy to explore the beautiful city on foot. This was definitely a highlight of my trip. However, there were several challenges during my stay. We experienced multiple power outages, which was quite disruptive and frustrating during the heatwave with 90 degree weather. Additionally, there was ongoing construction noise that made it difficult to relax in our room. Furthermore, upon arrival, I found that one of the rooms was not properly cleaned, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential due to its prime location, I hope they can address these issues for future guests.
