Great location and great stay for the price. Close to metro station and surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafes. Location seems to never sleep, lots of energy surrounding and you truly feel the local vibes. Would highly recommend for budget stay and would definitely stay here again!

My friends and I stayed here for four nights and loved it! The surrounding area, Montparnasse, had a great atmosphere and great dining options, and the hotel itself was very practical and offered a lot for its price. We had a triple room, which felt more spacious than we expected, and the staff was always very kind and responsive whenever we had a question or needed something. We always felt safe in the area and within the hotel itself. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel!

It's location is great for almost everything, restaurants, bars, theater, metro etc. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fresh but basic, I say that compared too other hotels. It was satisfactory but not wow.

We have no complaints about the facilities or the location, we were satisfied. When we arrived at the hotel and had to pay the lodging tax, we asked again and again because we weren't fluent in English and were skeptical about the security of Paris, but the receptionist patiently explained.

The hotel had bed bugs. We complained about them after having been bit all night and they first didn’t want to provide us with a new room since that would be a risk of them spreading.. wanted us to keep sleeping in the room full of bed bugs. The staff didn’t care at all about their guests at the hotel. Very non chalant and distant.

Great staff, location and property. The Central Hotel is a hidden gem. Literally steps from 3 different train stations and the main station (Gare Montparnasse) that has trains to Versailles and Mont St.Michel saved us hours and money in city traveling. Lively neighborhood that had restaurants open at 2 am but still quiet in the rooms. The staff was helpful and courteous - Jerome, Abdy and others (sorry don't have all names) at the front desk and of course Winnie from the breakfast room who was super helpful. The family double rooms we took were excellent as we got 2 large beds with 2 bathrooms for 4 of us, which made getting ready easy. We were traveling with another family and the front staff let us use the breakfast room in the evenings (when it was empty) to sit together and chat which made the week long stay more memorable.

It was a one night stay as early train out from Montparnasse the next day. Hôtel clean and tidy, reception very friendly but unfortunately the room wasn’t comfortable - there was no AC (or at least I couldn’t get it to work) so it was a choice of opening the window - with the noise of the restaurant below - or a very warm room to try and sleep in.

The room was nice and clean when we arrived. However, it was very small. There was no bar fridge. Hotel offers daily room cleaning but one morning we only got clean towels and bed was made. Bathroom wasnt cleaned at all. Our tea, coffee and milk supplies were not topped up. Only after mentioning above issues, we got our room cleaned and was able to get more tea and coffee. No TV in english and TV signal was really bad... on positive note, very good location. 3 different metro lines in the area. Losts of coffee shops and restaurants around. Reception staff was really nice.
