go find a hostel, this felt like a scam or a joke.

there were maybe no bed bugs, I left itchy (even though I slept fully clothed), sick (I'm assuming from the musty window curtains) and almost puked on a regular basis (due to the smell in the bathroom that was absolutely rank.

Only if you are desperate to find a room

Long narrow dirty staircase so only bring a light small suitcase. Staff where pleasant and friendly. Room itself needs a complete clean and be refurbished. Noisy when doors where open and shut. Thankfully I was only there for 12 hours.

If you just need a place to spend the night, this hotel is fine. A friend told me it’s a “box hotel”, there was no space in the room to do more than sleep. The bathroom was fine. It’s good to be aware that the reception is on the second floor, up a very narrow and steep staircase, hard to navigate with a suitcase. I appreciated the young man at the reception that helped me bring my suitcase to my room on the fourth floor.

The room was very basic, it was very cold at night as the heating wasn’t working and the duvets were extremely thin. There was middle of the night entertainment which was either the smoke alarm going off , people shouting and throwing stuff around . Very good location but wouldn’t recommend otherwise .

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Bed bug ridden Hairs and blood stains on the sheets Filthy bathroom Rock hard and I mean rock hard beds Poor staff at reception were not helpful at all. It was a basic single room with a balcony 407! Top floor. Steep stairs! Like I said it was very basic with TV, heating and a very hot shower with a good hair dryer. Can't complain as it was very cheap and I needed a balcony to smoke. Staff was friendly. Hotel location is amazing,5mins from dam sq a few mins walk to Anne frank. Could walk every from the location. I would stay again as it's cheap and has balcony. Cleaning every day! I didn't have any storage or safe. Had to bring the chair in from the balcony to put my stuff on

I think the other reviews on this place are quite harsh, yes the hotel isnt exactly a 5 star palace but for what it is everything was fine. There were no bedbugs as people suggested, room was kept to a relatively good standard, the staff are friendly and the location is amazing. Defo not too bad for the price in my opinion
