Location of the hotel is perfect, we used the parking garage (Q-Park) that is a 3 min walk from the Hotel, we payed 60Euro for 24H parking, a bit expensive but worth it if u are travelling with Car and wanna keep it safe. The breakfeast is at minimum but easy if u wanna just get going in the morning, rooms was clean and decent, cant complain for the price we paid, overall good.

I have traveled to Amsterdam numerous times. This time as a 70 year old man. For me, now, I prefer a more comfortable stay. The location is ideal. The room borders on being small since we had to layout our two suitcases on the floor. The bathroom is adequate though small and the shower is small. If location is important this location is great.

Best Western Dam Square was a great choice for us in Amsterdam. Typically, we try and book into a local hotel (vs chain) This BW is unlike any north-American hotel... and is definitely a great hotel to stay at in Amsterdam. It's location "(10 min walk to Central Station) is great. It is also a unique, old building, along a typical narrow cobblestone street. Amazing shopping and restaurants are immediately accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful. The available breakfast was very good, with good variety. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed! So happy to have stayed here!

Great Hotel in city center at a reasonable price

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Best Western Damrak. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the cozy breakfast area with a nice selection to start the day. When I accidentally left something behind in my room, the team responded quickly and helped me retrieve it without any hassle. I’m truly grateful for their support. I would gladly return in the future – highly recommended!

Too Expensive for what you get!

I have always had good experiences with Best Western, but this hotel is run down and needs a major remodel. Much of the room's furniture needed to be dusted. Bathroom cleanliness was average. The room was tiny and the bathroom reminded me of a ship's bathroom. The shower was so tiny I think many people would not be able to fit in it. It also leaked and flooded the floor while showering. The location of this hotel was the plus. It is just a short walk to the train station, so it was convenient. The included breakfast was exactly the same every day. We stayed eight days so we got sick of eating the same thing: cereal, juice, yogurt, bread, and cold cuts. We paid the most for this hotel than any we have stayed at on any of our trips. The rate was over $300 nightly. Because the USD is weak now, that amount went up to close to $400 nightly.
