This stay was incredible. Very close to the Duomo, market, excellent restaurants. Alessandro was an absolute pleasure. There is no lift, but service was great, and assistance with my unreasonably heavy bag was provided with pleasure. Cozy rooms as to be expected in the part of the city but the location,service, and charm can't be beat. Busy area but quiet in the rooms. Comfortable bedding (which is not always easy to find in Europe). Great value. 100% recommend.

Our stay was marvelous, even though there is no elevator. The staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful, friendly and informative. Allessandro and Tea helped us plan tours, suggested good restaurants in the area and made us feel very welcome. The San Lorenzo area is just a few steps from the train station and the Duomo.
