Small hotel in a residential area close to the beach. Very modern, clean and spacious bar and outside seating area. The room was small but not cramped and was furnished in keeping with the hotels decor. There was a birthday party taking place in the evening but the staff were quietly efficient and spent an appropriate time to check us in. If there is a downside it has to be the car park. It’s small and very awkward to navigate when full - 7 spaces in two separate areas. Not however a reason to ignore this exceptional hotel.

Charming property just steps from the beach in a very quiet and dog-loving seaside town. Our room (3) was wonderful (Hints for large switch outside bath to turn on shower, and use outlet switch to turn on TV, would be good) and the restaurant served a delicious dinner with great chats. This is a gem on the busy south coast and is walkable for the town.

We had great fun at The Seaview. We were told new owners bought it several years ago and completely gutted and renewed it and it shows. Very tastefully done. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Carlo who made us feel very welcome and had a great personality.

A lovely pub/reataurant with rooms. We stayed in ‘The Apartment’ that sleeps up to six people, with two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Four of us stayed comfortably and we will definitely stay here again. We had dinner and breakfast there, the food was lovely, and service second to none. It’s a great location, literally on the beach and has parking. Really friemdly, attentive staff who couldn’t do enough to help. They have live music events and the vibe in the bar area is good. A great find, and would highly recommended.

Our bijou room suffered from being over the kitchen, noise from the door and cooking smells drifting in. Sea view was minimal but the location near the sea was perfect. Quite location and within easy reach of local shops and cafe. Service, decor and cleanliness were excellent.

The rooms are small but completely renovated and very clean. The rooms above the restaurants are a little noisy. Missing small things like tissues and face clothes ( face flannel). Parking is limited and an issue given the small road leading to hotel. The service is very friendly and very efficient. The food is good but for a change the villages has a great breakfast place and pub.

Charming little hotel with rooms above. Small rooms with a proper King bed. Good linen. Nice size bathroom. Bright and sunny so it was light early. Tea & coffee provided but only 2 tea bags. They have meals on site or there are places to eat a short walk away. Quick walk to the beach.

We stayed at The Seaview on our wedding night. We needed to check-in later than the standard check-in time and The Seaview went the extra mile to accommodate us. The room was big, clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and it was a lovely room. They had very kindly decorated it in celebration of our wedding, which was a wonderful surprise. We had breakfast, which was delicious, with excellent and friendly service. We didn’t use the bar/pub/outside area but it looked brilliant and we will be returning. Thank you for making our stay memorable and special.

Lovely place to stay but our bathroom was to small. Towels need to be bigger. Dined in restaurant £32 for small steak and 5 chips! Please check your bill in restaurant carefully we were charged for bottles of wine drinks and food we did not purchase so was not happy regarding that. Need reserved parking spaces as there was limited space and had to park quite a bit from property once which we did not like.

First impression: very good. Off-street parking was available very close to the entrance. Check-in was at the bar in a modern bar/restaurant which was quiet and inviting, and I was soon shown to my room. The evening meal was excellent, with a couple of pints of a local ale. Food service ended at 8.30pm but that suited me fine. The bar/restaurant remained a quiet place, to be expected on a mid-week evening in November. My room had a good-sized double bed, but no other furniture apart from small bedside tables and the tea/coffee station. To watch the suspended TV therefore you had to sit on the bed; at least I found a use for the 4 cushions placed on the bed, in addition to the pillows. The room would not have been great if I had wanted to write, or use a laptop; a couple would easily get in each other's way. The ensuite shower-room was of very small dimensions. I am of medium build: the shower was just about large enough for me. The basin was really only OK for washing hands; its small size demanded you spit accurately when cleaning your teeth. However it also prevented sitting straight when using the toilet, which was raised up on a kind of step making it feel slightly awkward. During the night I was conscious of a persistent humming noise. I could not tell if this was from inside or outside the building, but I found it affected the quality of my sleep. In the morning, full English breakfast was superb, and checking out was quick and efficient with the friendly staff.
