The hotel staff was very friendly. We had the one room suite and it was very comfortable and roomy. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The hotel was slightly dated but we would definitely stay again. Walls were thick so you didn’t hear all your neighbors and we slept amazing. Overall I enjoyed our stay there

The Candlewood Suites is a nice hotel with all the comforts of home. The added perk of having a refrigerator and microwave in the room, along with a fitness center and convenience store on property was definitely appreciated. The room was clean and smelled good. In room fridge is huge with ice maker. Nice to be able to cook food in your room instead of spending money to eat out all the time. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, easy to drive straight down 61st street to the beach, and shopping or downtown to Strand. Only downfalls shower curtan is not waterproof and allowed water to go EVERYWHERE lol. The other downfall was that bed was no where near a queen size, but a full size mattress (I have a queen at home). But overall I would definitely stay here again!

Loud noise through the wall below my room made it difficult to sleep. No housekeeping service unless you stay 10 days or more leaving you to go to the front desk and ask for sheets, towels and all else.

when we were evaluating the reviews for the hotel it appears they were not true. I am getting feedback from the guys it was horrible they only sleep there for a few hours. Very dirty and team didn’t even want to take showers. They arrived at 5:00 a.m. and most guys have already left the hotel
