The Thomas Hotel is simply amazing! We live in Tyler but some friends and I decided to have a little staycation to try it out. The staff was so accommodating and the check-in process was seamless and quick. The entire hotel is gorgeous with wonderful architecture and interior decorating. My friends and I would not hesitate to recommend the Thomas as the must-stay hotel anywhere around.

Lovely property. The staff was proactive in sending all the pertinent information needed before we even arrived. The room was well outfitted with everything you might need. A great option if you need to stay in Tyler or surrounding area.

Nice hotel, great location!

Cute hotel, great location, friendly staff, nice room, seemed like it was recently renovated and they did a good job, comfy bed, not big but it was spacious enough if you’re not spending an extended period of time in the room, so overall, and nice one-night stay.

Overall, The stay was lovely. Everything was nice, clean, staff were welcoming and helpful. Only thing was the view from suite 3 and the internet was out the entire time. We couldn’t watch anything on the TV which was hard on my kid! Would definitely recommend though!

Lovely little hotel

Probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at and I stay at over 200 a year. Felt like a small apartment and the bed/bedding was great. Would definitely return.

Rooms were spacious and clean! A small boutique hotel that is modern and chic. Conner and the entire staff were wonderful and accommodating with anything we needed. I love the fresh coffee and Village bakery pastries (A Tyler staple) they provided every morning. The next time I’m coming to Tyler I will only stay here!

It's a boutique hotel in Tyler, Tx with 8 rooms. It is not the upscale hotel one would expect for $300 per night. If you are looking for a hotel in the heart of downtown Tyler and you want to experience the downtown life without having to drive back to your hotel after a night out, this is an option. However, it is no more grand than the other Hilton/Marriott hotels in the area that are half the price. You'll pay for the convenience of being downtown. PRO's: Cozy hotel, comfortable bed, hardwood flooring, suite options, convenience to downtown attractions, bar options on hotel site until 10 PM, friendly hotel staff, quiet CON's: No elevator (2 floors), carpet in bedroom was slightly dirty, water stains on bathroom counter and grime on soap dispenser, water stains on living table, continental breakfast only offered KIND bars/products and coffee, no one physically on staff late at night, parking. Again, you're paying for the location, but ultimately this is a basic hotel room.

We enjoyed our visit at the Thomas hotel when traveling to Tyler, Texas. It was a very safe and secure hotel, requiring personal codes to enter . The lobby was very welcoming and comfortable, with a bar to order a beverage. Connor was on staff the majority of our time there and he went above and beyond for excellent service. He was friendly and helpful in finding a place to eat. There were several fine dining and table service restaurants within 1-2 blocks of the hotel, all very good. The hotel was clean and smelled great, even in the hallway. It really was a little home away from home. Parking was either street parking or a garage spot for one car around the corner. Not bad considering in most cities you’re forced to pay valet at exorbitant rates. We don’t mind a short walk, and there were front door spots to unload, so it was a non-issue for us. The room had a nice sitting/kitchenette area. Bedroom was clean and neat with good amount of outlets. Bathroom was clean as well, a little tight with the door often in the way and shower was small (and I’m 5’2” at 120#’s). But it had great pressure and served the purpose. Also didn’t have a dirty curtain blowing at my legs the whole time, so I’ll take a little clean and tight shower. Highly recommend a visit to this hotel when in Tyler. It beats the typical box hotels by far!

The room was amazing. My only complaint is that I did not realize you needed a code to make entry into the hotel because there is no staff in the evening or night. Luckily, I arrived as the last staff member was leaving and she checked me in.

Room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Hotel felt very secure. Be prepared for the view if you stay in the room facing the deserted building and deserted parking garage. It may be the worst view in the entire town. Close the curtain and enjoy your stay! Visit the Loft across the street and eat at Moocho Burrito for breakfast.
