6/10 Good

Okay...friendly staff but out dated and not a full casino...
Daniel, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Pros: Working AC (very important for the desert in July), quiet area, beautiful views, fantastic staff, good food. Cons: The building needs some updates- gaps under the door allow for dust to blow in and the mattresses aren't the most comfortable.

5 star review, not a five star hotel

Given the location of this property on the loneliest highway in America, the property was sufficient for the night. The place is dated and could use a makeover. However, the beds were good, the room was clean, the location was quiet. Access to Great Basin National Park was good. The parking lot was well lit, which allowed me to turn off the headlights in the middle of the night to not bother other guests. Compared to all the other options in Baker, I would choose this motel again.

good motel to be close to great basin national park. no TV in room, bar and casino area are smokey. restaurants was decent. room had a microwave and fridge. fairly quiet area.
Robert, 2-night trip

Great place! We’d stay again!
Kara, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Convenient while driving through the area
Linda, 1-night trip

It was convenient as there were no other options that night. AC worked. Pillows were good, but bed was OK. The worst issue was a bad smell, probably from an inadequate septic seal at the foot of the toilet. Other than the smell, the room was reasonable.

Give this place a chance

This place reminded me to never judge by its cover. Yes, outdated or let’s say very vintage but clean, comfortable bed and bedding with plenty of hot water in the tiny bathroom. What sold us was its uniqueness, great and friendly service and very good food.
Els, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Dated, but it’s very isolated so for the area it was okay. The food wasn’t good tho.
Lorena, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

What a hoot of a place. The rooms weren't the cleanest, but a lot of that is because it's an older property. I loved the 24-hour cafe/bar/casino onsite so convenient. The quesadillas were great. Coffee available all day long. Staff, especially Joe, was so friendly.
Cherie, 1-night trip

Loved my stay here!
Heather, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This is a mom and pop hotel. Very friendly and kind. Room was clean .Shower water hot.
JENNIFER, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This hotel needs a lot of updating. Obviously an older hotel. Have to say the bed was really comfortable. Apparently under new ownership who took all of the TVs out of the rooms. Was supposed to stay for three nights but only stayed for one.
Kathryn, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Very questionable location, rooms extremely worn, restaurant in casino stunk of cigarettes
Barbara, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Look, it's an older building that shows its age. There was a microwave and a tiny fridge that worked. The room was clean and the sheets and blanket were so soft! The ac was as cold as we wanted it. Was there a TV? No. Was the electricity iffy? Kinda. But, the staff were helpful. For the middle of nowhere it was great. For a place to lay your head at the cusp of Great Basin National Park and Lehman Caves it was perfect.
Amber, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Not many choices near Great Basin National Park

The room was ok, couple use some renovations. Televisions were in the pictures of the room but there was no tv. The walls are thin and you can hear the wind blow.
Jennifer Marie, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

A place to sleep

The motel is right outside the National Parkin a very rural area. No frills, but comfortable enough to get a good night's rest.
Andrew, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The good, the bad……..

The bad: no facial tissue, no bath soap, shampoo, or conditioner, no tv, no ice machine, but, bag ice for sale or a cup of ice at the bar. The good: one stop shop, motel, bar, restaurant, gas station, convenience store, casino. All on the Nevada-Utah state line.
Thomas, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This place will do for a night.
Robert, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The good part about the property is the convenient location.
Joshua, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very clean, comfortable, and warm room staying in November. The facilities are dated, but it was a very enjoyable stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
Jill, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Good place for a short stay on your way elsewhere (Colorado) or to visit very nearby Great Basin NP.
Peter, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

If you are staying here it’s probably because you couldn’t find anything else near the national park. It’s fine for 1, at most 2, nights but it’s really got the vibe of a run down motel.

10/10 Exceptional

Bar and restaurant was good, Awesome Location

Breakfast was good. I love sign of Utah and Neveda. the hotel is sharing the borders of two states.

Very old-Poor condition

Floor uneven towards bathroom. Mattress was beyond worn out. Door knob was hard to lock and unlock. Internet terrible in room. One good comment- towels nice ...and clean. Location was great ,close to Great Basin National Park. Sheets felt good. Rooms are in desperate need of remodel.
