The front desk were not very friendly like most other hotels. barely greeted you as you went in and out. the pillows in the room are awful (feathered). You could hear your neighbors lots. They had some of the dining options closed while i was there. Hotel room and amenities gave 2 star vibes. Its a nice property with lots of history there which i liked to explore and observe/learn. But I don't know if I would stay there again if i had to just because it wasn't that exciting or special - it just has less traffic noise etc though which is a bonus.

It is a beautiful property, in an amazing location. What’s lacking is the small and intuitive amenities that excellent resorts have. They are small like lemon ice water in the lobby, washroom in or very close to the lobby and handicap automatic doors to access the room hallways. Once again, these are very small things but are important to take a top-notch resort from great to excellent.
