Good location just off ferry and convenient for town. Welcoming and clean.

Absolutely our favourite stop so far on our east coast tour. Hala was so friendly and outgoing and the delicious breakfast is well worth the money.

The service is top notch! The owners cater to your needs to make you feel at home. The hotel is quaint, clean and comfortable. Our room was a bit small but had everything we needed. There are nicer rooms in the property. The breakfast was delicious!

Great property! I may suggest less decorations on the floor to permit more walking room. The beds were great. the shower, however, was a little slippery. Fantastic hosts and yummy breakfast.

Welcoming Host, Great Space

The lady welcoming us and running the place was extremely friendly and welcoming. Great room, beautiful back yard. Convenient to the ferry.

Taudessac is a gem of Quebec and this B&B is a true gem of Taudessac and what makes it even more special is the owner and hostess: the sweetest Hela Gagne. Our only regret is that we didn't book for at least one more night.
Leonid, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Staff was amazing. Really accommodating. The hotel is in a historic town so I understand how rooms are smaller. It’s close to a ferry line so it can be tricky to access hotel parking.

This is a very special property within a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants in town. The couple who run the auberge are lovely and welcomed us with a warm smile when we arrived late one evening. The front desk is not always staffed but our host was easily reached by phone. The room was immaculate and comfortable and breakfast was wonderful! We would most certainly return.

Clean, and very comfortable. Host was pleasant. Was accommodating to English speakers. Love the town.

Maison Gagne is a small property very close to the ferry crossing and a short walk to the center of Tadussac. The room we had was very small, but the service is so warm and friendly that it made up for it. The breakfast was delicious! We worked up to the smell of freshly baked croissants every day. The owners, Ella and Immett are very accommodating, super friendly and helpful. They speak English and French and Ella speaks Italian. We would go back there in a heartbeat!

Do not take the backyard shed room!!!

Was surprised to be assigned small flimsy garden shed in backyard for our “deluxe” accommodation! Small pedestal sink, nowhere to put anything, bathtub shower was difficult to navigate, cold water handle fell off when turning on. TV did not work, wifi was spotty. Breakfast was extra charge ($15 per breakfast), unusual for a B&B but whatever. The breakfast was delicious. Host was very nice. The town of Tadoussac is lovely and well worth visiting, we loved our visit!

The beautiful Hella was very accomodating. She made sure we had a pleasant stay. The room is cozy. Breakfast is good. We will definitely book here again for our next stay in Tadoussac.
Carissa, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A great little B&B place which is certainly good value for money. Hela (Ella), the host, is just amazing; does anything she can to make your stay in the auberge and town a memorable one. Breakfast is a treat and definitely worth it!! This is easy walking to the town and port. Rooms on the front might get some noise from the main road but that’s the only issue. Would recommend.
Martin, 1-night trip

Great stay, room was clean, nice quiet area and staff were very friendly.
Shawna, 5-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Cozy and welcoming B&B in Tadoussac, just a short walk from downtown and all the main activities. The place has a charming, well-kept vibe—super clean and nicely put together. Ella, the host, is incredibly kind, hardworking, and thoughtful. She really goes the extra mile to make sure guests feel right at home. Thank you Ella and will come back and visit again.
Maera Dela, 2-night trip

Perfect for our one night stay in the area.

8/10 Very good

We stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, including 5-star hotels. The service provided by Auberge Maison Gagne was exceptional, one of the best we have ever experienced. The Auberge is a very nice place to stay if you are an average-sized person, as the bathroom is tiny. The description of the Auberge on Expedia is misleading. It is not a Bed & Breakfast. They stopped offering breakfast since the COVID pandemic.

6/10 Good

Way too expensive for what you get. Hard for us as older people to get to our room. Very steep set of stairs. Bathroom was teeny and sink was in main part of room. Just too small and not enough amenities for us old fogeys.

Don't go Digital Key

Location was good across from Holy Trinity and Staff tried to help. The digital key did not work the entire weekend and in order to get into room I had to call a service desk each time.
