I’m extremely disappointed with our recent stay due to a very upsetting experience at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant staff were not only unhelpful but outright rude when we asked them to warm up food for my autistic child - something we’ve never had an issue with at any other establishment.
Despite explaining the importance and necessity of warming up his food due to sensory sensitivities, staff refused and dismissed our request with little empathy or understanding. The lack of basic accommodation felt discriminatory and left out family feeling unwelcome and marginalised.
Hotels should be safe, inclusive for all guests, especially children with disabilities. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a lack of awareness and training that is unacceptable in the hospitality industry.
Until proper training is implemented and steps are taken to prevent such discriminatory behaviour, I cannot recommend this hotel to families with special needs.
Also, the shower had no water flow.
