Great option in Stockholm

Loved my stay in this modern, charming, comfortable hotel, very convenientely located - transportation, shops, restaurants - and with a great breakfast! Probably because of the various exits and levels of the train station and sorrounding streets, Google Maps may not point the easiest path, which is: walk along the platform of the airport train (Arlanda Express), and at the end there'll be an exit with a sign: Clarion Hotel Sign 250 m to the left. I wish I knew this upon arrival. Would surely stay there again when back in exciting Stockholm.

Good hotel but could be great

Staff were very nice at reception, restaurant and spa. Room was a bit tired, door to mini fridge was not aligned difficult to open and bathroom had some mould on the floor in the grouting. We used the gym and that was very well equipped. Also the spa but the pool heater was not working, they kindly offered a refund or rebook

No pool, not really

It was a great disappointment that there was a pool filter/label and a picture of a pool but the pool was only accessible via separate spa company, $30 payment per child, only between 9-12 for children, and only with a reservation. This hotel should not claim it has a pool. I searched for hotels specifically with pools and this feels like fraud. Otherwise the hotel was ok, breakfast was good.

Average hotel - dated rooms, breakfast disaster

This hotel is very average. Staff at check in were friendly and professional and the room was spacious, but it was dated with uncomfortable slippery bath to shower in. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly within our stay and tea bags were not refilled. The breakfast was an absolute disaster - people standing and running everywhere looking for tables as there was no organisation and not enough space for all the guests. It was very stressful and result of poor hotel’s planning. The early bird breakfast (before 6.30/7am) on our second day was a joke too - no coffee and most of the food taken even though it was only 6am. The coffee they use is nasty cheap Nescafé.

Breakfast rooms on weekend are too small for all people! No proper coffee ! Spa: nobody at Checkin and Web Page announced that you have to prebook and is not included, costs are too high!! They give you a bathrobe and send you back to the room as it’s too crowded in the changing. At least 10 minutes as the lifts are all the time overloaded. In fact the changing room was completely empty. The sauna is used with bath clothes and people go with showering into the pool. Absolutely no go and totally against sauna roules- never ever again!!!

Car parking robbery

Fell foul of the Swedish car parking system of pre booking in the car park below the hotel. Went to the basement in the evening looking for a machine to pay for my parking. NO machine . You must use an APP to pay for your space . The hotel have no facilities to be able to pay through them for the spaces in THEIR building basement. Parking ticket was issued at 02:00am by traffic warden . Do not use a hire car in Sweden . Also had to pay a fine plus a £25 fee to do a bank transfer as they don’t accept credit card payments for fines .

Ett Strawberry hotell som skulle behövt en uppfräschning för ca 15 år sedan. Översvämmade dusch, hål i handdukarna, riktigt smutsiga möbler en hotellbar som stängde 22.00 en fredag. Urtväddade och osköna täcken och kuddar som säkert va bra för 20 år sedan. Nej skäms @clarionsign @petterstordalen ett vandrarhem hade känts fräschare
