this hotel is in the very center of the lively city. The location is perfect to be able to walk to all of the beautiful cathedrals, theaters and museums. It is also right on the main piazza where the mariachi bands entertain at the many restaurants. Definitely best to have a room not facing the square, as the bands and parties continue late into the night on the weekend.

What a beautiful hotel. I loved staying here. The location is excellent for all things Guanajuato (keeping in mind that means it's excellently located near the nightly entertainment on the square, so bring your earplugs if that's a problem for you) Sylvia at the front desk is kind and very helpful. Very central location, clean and staff is very polite and helpful. Laundry service on site. Have also AC and elevator for two persons at a time (no luggage). They do charge for bottle water after the first two provided. A little noisy on the weekend since it’s right on the plaza and music goes on until late hours. I did not see access to roof top or pool.
