Needs some Touch Ups or Lower the Price

The mattress was comfortable enough, the flooring needs to be redone badly. The sink was near the bed and not in the bathroom which was a bit inconvenient, and the tub needs to have anti-slip, for a handicapped room it was not safe in my opinion. We asked for a mat, and were given one which was nice, but small. The concrete steps outside the front door need to be looked at as they are starting to erode. We did appreciate the quiet and the staff did a good job at noise control. We stayed here due to previous reviews, but honestly for the price in off season not sure we will stay there again.

Check-in was great. Friendly staff. The room was clean at first appearance. The room, air conditioner, and bathroom smelled of mold and mildew. Bathroom had mildew stains around the tub. The carpet was dirty and damp. Not acceptable for a hotel that jacked up price during high fishing season!

Cook Mr Mike was amazing. He was so welcoming and kept his breakfast line spotless and always filled with fresh food. My granddaughter & I enjoyed the pool & hot tub every morning. We appreciated the pool toys as well. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Staff were all great and it was nice and quiet all hours I was there. Rooms were clean, but a little cramped feeling with the two double beds and someone is going to be sleeping hot with the heater right up against one bed. The lack of an elevator might be rough on some folks so best to keep it in mind. Best part for me this trip was the pool and hot tub. The deep hot tub was amazing after the drive in from Anchorage. Adult only hours at the end of the night are an extra plus too.

My husband & I have found many hotels/motels have not been renovated or nearly as clean as they appear on their website. We booked this motel last minute and I was dreading what we might be getting for the night but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and spacious.
