A good stay in a nice little town

The front desk staff was very kind. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean, although a bit shabby in the bathroom. I like that we had full control over the a/c unit but it did take quite awhile to cool down. And, although not the fault of the staff, the alarm clock in the empty room next door went off at 6am and was on full volume and went off for 15 minutes. The cleaning staff was in our hallway by 8am and was quite loud.

Front desk staff not friendly at all. Didn't even ask for my ID when I checked in. Elevator was broken, not even a "sorry for the inconvenience" when we were on the 3rd floor. During the night, the AC leaked everywhere and the child that was sleeping on a pad on the floor woke up in a puddle of water. Again, not even a half sincere "sorry for the inconvenience". Overall just pathetic in the customer service department. We stayed in the same hotel in the fall of 2024 and it was much better.

Check in was pleasant with friendly staff at the desk. The pictures of the room far undersold it. I reserved a suite with king bed. I was not prepared for how large the room was. Separate sitting area and sleeping area with both being very roomy. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
