We had a good time in Mackinaw City. Our hotel room had a beautiful view of Lake Huron and the Saturday night fireworks. The hotel is an easy walk to the ferry for a fun day on Mackinac Island.

We checked in early and lucky the room was ready. Room needs a lot of tlc. Burned out lights, rusty air vent covers, patches of paint missing, bed too close to window, drapes too heavy, too long and smelled of smoke. Balcony chairs were the best we ever sat in!

KC to Bay Inn was a winner

It was a nice comfortable stay. The room was clean, in order and beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning and the fireworks on our final night was spectacular. The front desk clerk was helpful, friendly and very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel for a stay in Mackinaw City

We stayed here for one night and it was great for our family. Loved the balcony off of our room to see the bay and islands. Our room seemed somewhat updated but also needed some additional updates or repairs (e.g., rusty air vents, some of the counter top was broken off), but otherwise suited our family.
