Great stay!

Stayed here for 10 nights. The staff were very friendly and had good English. We were given clean towels everyday and beds were made daily. Mlini was stunning, nice to stay a short distance outside the busyness of Dubrovnik old town. It was about 12-25€ for an Uber into the old town, depending on the time. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back!

Friendly staff, modern renovated design is very nice particularly the pool and spa area. Room was super clean and tidy, with an amazing balcony view from the annex. The beach and Mlini area are lovely and all close by.

We had a Beautiful Stay. Staff was lovely and hotel was clean. We loved sauna and steam. Outdoor pool was nice as well along with sun beds. Only issue/feedback that we had that there is no Lift in annex building and my wife found hard to use stairs every time due to Arthritis.

Mlini

Checked in at the renovated Astarea hotel which looked beautiful. Was disappointed to be then directed over the car park to the annex hotel which looks like it dates back to the 60’s. The room was tiny and basic but it was clean and functional. A great shower and there is a fridge and kettle. Breakfast was very crowded and the food disappeared quickly but was replenished quick enough. Queues for the coffee machine. The pool was lovely, yes you do have to get there fairly early to get a lounger or you can pay for a lounger on the beach. Not many places in Mlini to eat but there are a few choices. Overall the experience was fine but could have been better. You get what you pay for!!

No mention on Expedia that we would incur 28EUR/day cost for sunloungers/umbrella. Indoor pool was closed 7 out of 9 days. 1 of the 2 lifts was broken for majority of stay. Room was cramped but with modern fittings. Housekeeping were excellent.

From the transfer (from and to) the airport, the quiet , efficient check-in, the beautifully clean and well-appointed room, easy access to pool (indoor and outdoor) as well as beach if you wanted to - bathing towels and gowns provided giving the spa-feel, this was an easy place to relax. Comfortable bar and balcony overlooking the sea and on one occasion a fabulous storm at night. Transport via boat ferry to Dubrovnik and Cavtat harbours ( both were €15 return for a lovely 20-5 min boat journey). Bus to both places as well for about €3 but either a steep 5 min walk up the hotel access road to Mlini bus stop,on the main road or an easier but longer walk 20 min stroll to the other end of Mlini. (Where there's a great little supermarket). Not too bad though either way - but the first would be hot in summer!! Several pasta/pizza places in Mlini but try the excellent food at the Lanterna restaurant. Dalmatian cuisine and wines, and tables right on the harbour side. Breakfast at the Asterea is excellent. Try to go in early and avoid the busier time. We had a really good, peaceful and relaxing stay and walked for miles in Dubrovnik, Cavtat and all round Mlini.

We only had a night stay but it was perfect. The team were kind enough to let us check in earlier as our flight landed in the morning and we headed straight to the beach which was very chilled. We didn’t even bother with the pool as this was packed. Had to pay for the beach umbrella and sun lounger for the day but I understand that’s not unusual..Also I suffer from neck pain and had requested a firm pillow which was in the room when we got in. Brilliant. Breakfast was combination of cold cuts, hot food, various baked goods and was perfectly fine to set you yo for the day. Thank you so much for a brilliant start to our anniversary holiday:)

Very nice place. Food was very good both breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was very good. Should have been a bar by the pool are to buy soft drinks, ice cream, beers, etc. Also the hotel's website should mention that they charge for the use of sun loungers and umbrella at the beach area. This should be free of charge for guests at the hotel. They are free by the pool area.
