The hotel needs a good renovation. They never said they were fixing the pool, but only the small ones were working. The water was cloudy, it wasn't clean. The surroundings need to be cleaned with a pressure hose.

The hotel is dated. Needs a renovation. However we only stayed for 1 night. Sleep was good However the AC was way too cold so up it to 70 but then it went down lower. So sadly my partner did not have a good sleep. The beach area was superb.

I like that it has a private beach and very nice a d clean pools. It's only 20 to 30 minutes from the Airpot, depending on the time of the day. The Suite with kitchen had everything we needed.

Staff was great. Bed was comfy. Hotel does need a serious upgrade. Shower was rusty. Very confusing to enter the premises. Get ready to go through 10 speed bumps along the way. Restaurants don’t open till 5pm

I did not like how loud other guest were, slamming doors arguing and banging on each others doors. I complained and nothing was done because I was the only one complaining but the whole family was on the second floor. Also if the air conditioner was not on 63-65 degrees you could smell mold and see it on the ceiling. Staff was overall great your room is cleaned everyday. I would stay again if they improved those things I mentioned. Beach view is beautiful and they have three pools.

This hotel is in desperate need of room renovations. The employee, Ismel, lacks customer service. The person tells you, "I'm not paid enough here to resolve a customer's request. Someone should speak to this employee about their position in the front desk at the hotel. If you're looking for a hotel with a nice pool and that's what you want, you won't have a problem staying here. The pool belongs to the Embassy Suites. It has a convenient bar next to the pool. The drinks are a bit pricey, but the food is good.

The area was nice. Parking was okay but you have to go through 2 gates and pay for parking $15 nightly. The hotel seem clean, safe and most of the staff were nice. Room seem cleaned but we found a live roach by the kitchenette area and took a video of it. Management refused to cancel our last say and refund us. Only changed our room to a different floor with not even a courtesy upgrade. We found another roach on new room dead by the bathroom door but at this point we just wanted to rest and not deal with their dismissive attitude. Stay somewhere else for a little more. I will not be staying here again.

Would not stay here again and could not recommend it. We almost did not complete our non refundable 2 night stay. However, after we complained about the poor conditions in our room, we were assigned a new, remodeled room that sufficed for our stay. However in this room there was a strong sewer gas smell in the bathroom and the internet did not work most of the time. Earlier in the week we stayed at the Aquarius in Boqueron and it was fine. Thought this property would be similar but it is in need of a major refresh. The property does share a pool area and beach with Embassy Suites and that seemed nice. Had I known, I would simply have paid a little bit more to book the Embassy Hotel.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here. The location sits farther back, however, it's near every convenience you can have from grocery stores to Walgreen's to plenty of restaurants. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Love the grounds. The pool and beach are fantastic. Great views. I've always known the hotel itself is dated and they've made some renovations outside of the rooms from my last visit. Unfortunately, there were a few misses. The room door was hard to open as the hallways and doorways were painted recently so the door kept getting stuck. It required force to open and close and may be difficult for certain people. The room next to us seemed to have this issue as well and left their door attached, but not shut during the day to avoid having to almost body slam the door open. One of the towels looked to have blood or fecal stains. We did not use it even though we knew it was washed, it should have been tossed. The sheets on the beds aren't enough. Adding a comforter or a throw blanket would definitely help with sleeping comfortably. Since the 1st time I've visited, I've made sure to bring our own throw blankets to use here. Overall, it's an 8 out of 10 and would recommend as long as you don't have high expectations.

The area around the front desk and pool was nice and clean, but it needs more work on the rooms. The carpet was dirty and there was a toy visible under the bed. The handle on the coffee pot was broken, coffee filters were wet, creamer was dry like a cracker, no facial tissue or toilet paper. Very small samples of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, not enough for 1 person to use. I recommend using the wall dispensers to avoid recycling plastic as well as having individual sugar, creamer, stirrers and napkins to avoid wasting items that are not used. It will be also nice to have a sample of dish washing detergent to wash the plates and silverware used during the stay.

The staff at Aquarius was very friendly. And the accommodations were good. Our problem is that we had a 3rd child in our suite bringing our total to five in the room. When we booked we simply planned to have the 8yr old child sleep in our double bed with us and the two other children sleep on the pullout couch. Everything was already there for that arrangement. It seemed easy. But to Aquarius this very simple arrangement was not good enough so they charged us an extra $100 a day. This was an unexpected additional cost of $700 to our vacation!! I don't know about you but that is a lot of money to our family. Furthermore, they didn't even give us sheets for the pullout couch and after we asked for them, room service took part of the sheets back every day. No extra room towels or soap or anything was given either. We just made do. So we basically paid $700 for a pool pass which could not be the going cost. I don't know about others, but we would not have booked here if we had known an extra 700 would be added. I thought maybe it would be a $100 "extra person fee" total at most. I was just very disappointed that they were not flexible on this. I thought this was a family friendly hotel and was sorely disappointed to find out it wasn't. It is a shame too as we enjoyed our time at Aquarius (staff was A+) but how can we come back \ recommend it if they can't accommodate a family of 5 in a time of high prices without adding such an extreme penalty to our time together?
