Great Option

We had a great stay at Pharos Hvar Bayhill. The location, just a 7 minute walk uphill on the path, above the harbor. You are rewarded with a beautiful property that is well laid out, with a clean, relaxing pool area, and expansive outside dining area off the main building, which is used, in addition to other dining, for the fantastic breakfast buffet (included). I hope to return and stay here again! Value

My husband and I spent one night at the hotel. While the reception and outside space was very nice and spacious our room was small and cramped and the balcony sea view was more of a view of the rooftop of the adjacent building. The 15 minute walk from the port to the hotel is fairly steep and could be challenging for some people (especially with luggage).

Very disappointed with our initial room as they were renovating block 3 and we were woken by drilling and banging. We spoke to reception and they kindly moved us to a superior in block one. The room was bigger, the bathroom in particular was so much better. We overlooked the pool. However being near the front door was noisy at night. Breakfast was good, the pool is like an ice bath.

Pros: Gorgeous view, clean room and good location. Cons: Breakfast was ok. Lots of flies in the dining area. Housekeeping only left 1 towel in the room for a party of 2. When we called the reception they said that housekeeping had left for the day and so they didn’t have access to towels. They also ran out of pool towels. Also it was very noisy at night. People were blaring music at 3 am. No response from the team when we pinged in the middle of the night.
