We had a great stay at the Americinn in Munising, it's such a beautiful area. Breakfast was great, room was clean and comfy. We had one issue with a barking dog that was left alone in a hotel room near us for hours on end. If you're going to do pets, maybe make those rooms closer to the lobby and away from other guests?

We loved our stay here at the AmericInn. We were rock hunting all day and were very tired at the end of the night. We were highly grateful that this property had laundry machines for use as well as a very nice, large pool. The breakfast buffet was also much more extensive than some of the other smaller properties, which we appreciated.

We choose this place for the "water park". It is a slide that they don't open until 6pm, even though the details written said it opened at 4pm. We were the only ones there one day and I asked them to open it early (since the boys were bored of the 3ft. pool, but was told no. There are no decent family restaurants (except for Earl E. Birds) nearby and things are pricey but the falls and the Riptide Pictured Rocks Tour were amazing!!!!!

Great service. Rooms were clean and breakfast was served till 10, which was so nice to not have to rush in the morning. Spent a good amount of time in the pool area. My 8 y/o and 5 y/o absolutely loved it and had so much fun. Deepest part is the pool was 3 ft and 6 inches. The hot tub was warm but not overly hot.
