First time staying at the Hampton Inn Kingsville. Stayed just up the street on my last visit. This was a much better experience for basically the same price. It was cleaner, more comfortable and in better condition than the other choice. Will stay here again.

Check in was great with a staff member behind the desk and not a machine. Staff member was friendly, efficient, and helpful with our request for where to eat. Room is spacious with a large bathroom. Everything is clean and neat. I would definitely stay here again. p

Stress Relief

We had an overnight stay for a bereavement trip. Jennifer, the evening clerk, was very helpful. I had not been able to specify when I booked but we needed a shower rather than a tub. She actually went upstairs to check a room to verify it had a walk-in shower. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast offered a variety of foods. Hampton Inn was a good place for us to take a break from our stressors.

We arrived to find our room was musty smelling and had a small unit brought in, but when we alerted the front desk, they immediately gave us a new room and walked us there just to make sure the AC was working properly in the new room. Best night's sleep I've had in forever - super comfy, roomy, and nice breakfast (love the pumpkin spice waffles!)

Over all, we were very satisfied. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The only issue was that at some point the a/c started leaking water on it's side and I stepped into an area of soaked carpet on the last night of our stay. I did inform the the cleaning staff.

Good Visit

Satisfied with my stay. Room was freezing and humid when we first walked in. But, it went away once we got the temperature comfortable. Room felt clean, but paint clearly showed where Sheetrock had been repaired. Especially above the window. Sheets and towels were nice and clean. Service at the front desk was great. Super helpful.
