Excellent short stay at the Edgewater with our 3 year old. Spent most of the time in the pool where our toddler made lots of friends with other kids. Stunning spot to enjoy the sunset. Breakfast was basic but adequate (cereals, breads, fruit) but chaotic and busy. More of a party atmosphere than elsewhere but very enjoyable still.

By no means luxury

Curtains are so light they let in all the light. Paired with screaming chickens doesn’t make for a great nights sleep. A lot of the staff seemed miserable as well which showed. At the end of the day it does the job but wouldn’t stay again.

A family resort.

The hotel hasn't changed much since I first stayed there in the 90s. The staff on the whole are helpful and friendly. There are some great shows to watch. Our favourite was the fire dance. It's definitely a great place to stay with kids, although this time they stayed at home. A few of the waitstaff are a little dishonest with their drinks charges as we caught them out twice, which spoiled part of our stay here, as did the housekeeping staff with their attention to detail. Overall though a relaxing place to stay.
