6/10 Good

The hotel was comfortable and quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. However, the sulfur smell in the water was quite strong.

Nice and cozy hotel. Quite area, but close to city life. No elevator. Smal rooms. But sufficient for our trip.

Excellent Loccation

When I said that I had a walker, they assigned me to the first level in order to make it easier for my whole stay. The hotel's location is fantastic. It is opposite Reykjavik's famous church and within easy walking distance of the restaurant Kol (creative presentation and taste) and the optional Loki.
Claudia, 1-night trip

Great location and easy to walk most places of interest. Small bathroom but it worked. Good blackout curtains for the long Summer days. Friendly staff.

Good Stay at Leifur Eiriksson

Great stay in Reykjavík. This hotel is historic, so don’t expect the rooms to be really large. they are not. The staff was nice. They let us store our bags before checkin was available. Also, if there in the summer, as we were, know that the rooms do not have air conditioning. It was not a problem for us as the outside temps were pleasant and you can open windows for ventilation. The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of downtown near all of the sights! Overall, a pleasant experience.

Lovely hotel with great view of the church. Easy to get anywhere in the city by walking.

Lovely Leif Erikson

The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff was very nice. The room was fine, as well. The only drawback was that they had no elevator. Three flights of stairs with bags was no fun! But the location was great!
cindy, 2-night trip

The staff were friendly and helpful . Fantastic views of the cathedral and really convenient for shopping and restaurants a very good option for the centre of town !
DAVID, 5-night trip

Great location, the staff were amazing and so helpful to us planning what we would do and best way to do it. Smaller rooms but lovely decor and we weren’t there to spend time in the room!
Jackee, 2-night trip

Cozy, quaint, quality, quiet

Okay, but….

Small room on building across the street from main hotel. Room was updated but buildings a bit worn. Stairs between floors. Breakfast simple and for the price I paid poor. Only cold options. Paid 30$ for breakfast. Worth perhaps 5-10 $ Staff was nice and efficient but not that friendly and hospitable. Better options are available.
Steffen, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Wonderful experience. Clean, beautiful rooms, helpful and lovely staff. The breakfast layout is a labor of love. All in all, highly recommended!
Olivier, 1-night trip

Totally recommended

Great hotel with excellent location, if you only have a day at Reykjavík this is the place to stay because all touristic spots are walking distance. The girl at the front desk during mornings and another lady named Sophie were so helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good (specially a black bread). The room was a little small but clean and cozy with a beautiful window view of Hallgrimskirkja.
