Great inexpensive buffet breakfast. Received room service promptly whenever requested. 24 hour reception (we arrived at 3:30am and left at 4:30am). Hotel clean, comfortable with pool, gymn and three English speaking news stations on large smart t.v. Large restaurant with meals available until 11pm. Nice bar with comfortable sofa style seating inside or patio area. 10 to15 minutes walk to center of town or $2 Uber ride. Perfect hotel for the price for my son and me visiting a family friend.

I loved the convenience of attending a conference right inside the hotel property, with room for meetings and receptions in different parts of the hotel. Very welcoming and attentive staff, very clean property. I walked to numerous restaurants and sites of interest within 10-15 minutes. I have stayed here multiple times over the years.

The room was clean and comfortable but outdated. The shower switched to colder and hotter by itself which was irritating. We ordered room service, and the soup was very good, but the tacos were terrible. The front desk service and concierge/bellboy's service were outstanding.

Great Mid_Range Hotel

HRM is a lovely, well-kept property that has clean, mid-range rooms in a fantastic location in San Miguel de Allende. it's not hyper-luxurious like the Rosewood, but it's a great family hotel with a lovely swimming pool. They are renovating at the moment, so the fitness center was closed. Their restaurant is okay (there are better options in town) but their staff is polite and highly professional. We really enjoyed our stay!

We just spent a week to celebrate my wife’s birthday, I reach out to concierge to plan a special day for my wife, Karina was awesome, she arranged a romantic welcome with champagne, flowers and chocolate. She also helped me with setting up a spa day, and had ballons set up on my wife’s birthday. Karina is very professional and she even answer her phone on her days off. Thank you karina for helping us in Japan amazing vacation, we will definitely comeback to hotel real de Mina’s.

The room, as expected was pretty basic for $74 USD. But it was clean. The staff is very friendly. Although I found it odd that music in the dining hall and main area started to play at 7am and could be heard into the rooms. Music should not start until later, regardless of breakfast time to respect guests long travel days and needing sleep. Other than that, it was a good experience.

We stayed at this hotel 4 nights in the past 2 weeks. The first 2 nights, March 2nd and 3rd, were good. We were on the second floor, room 214, the room was good. We used the pool and the water seemed a bit cloudy, I figured it was because it was after a weekend and the pool had a lot of use. But when we came back for Mar. 9th and 10th we went to use the pool again and the water was still cloudy, even worse than the week before. I did see someone working around the pool mechanical area so I am assuming they knew about an issue, but they should have posted the pool to use with caution because I felt the pool was not looking the best. There was garbage around the pool in the shrubs for the 2 days we were here, the waiter serving around the pool could have picked it up. On our second visit here, 9th and 10th we were on the first floor, room 110. There was a fairly strong septic smell in the corridor going to our room. The room was dull and never did get any sun coming through the window. The bathroom was clean but the glass door and the tiles in the shower and bathroom glass door seemed to be stained with soap scum. There were a couple of other small things around the room and hotel that made this place feel more like a 3 star hotel rather than the 5 star as advertised. The front desk staff and bell boy were very freindly and accomadating. We walked to the artisan market in about 25 minutes, we are over 70 years old so younger people could do it in a shorter time I am sure.
