Jimmy, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Dirty and smelly room

The room was dirty, smelly, and hot due to water boiler in the room. Only a small window for such a hot room. The service was terrible because they were not bothered about these complaints.

The rooms were old but clean. For a night or two its ok. Its a good value for money. Not very ideal if you are with kids. Restaurant and bar are good.

Room was above kitchen and roasting hot all night long. Had a terrible nights sleep, only to be woken at 7am by loud rock music coming from the kitchens below. Not good.

T

The room we was given was not fitted with air conditioning, the only access to any kind of fresh air was through a window which had been modified so it would only open approximately 2 centimetres and the room was like being in a sauna. We was not offered any alternative room or a fan to help with the very very very hot room!!! As a result I will not be choosing this particular hotel next time I stay in the area and definitely won’t be recommending them to anyone either.

nicely presented hotel and nice and clean everywhere. in a building as old as this, some areas could do with a little tlc of course but overall, i really liked the character of the place and would have no trouble booking here again. small tv in room but it had loadsa freeview channels and best of all, the internet was free and fast.
michael, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Overall the room was very tired, lack of attention to cleaning let it down. Stayed for a meal on one night, they were very under staffed. The staff were very friendly when you saw them. Is was fine of a long weekend and they allowed dogs to stay

Hotel review

The room needed updating, new carpet and the bathroom area needed some mould removal. Comfortable beds and quiet. Parking was a struggle, recommend parking on the main road. Just to note our room area building had no lifts.

.Staff made the place. Great breakfast & Dinners.

Okay , yes the floors creak and its a bit old but the management and staff are fabulous. The hotel has a very welcoming feel about it . The food and beverages were reasonable priced and the breakfast and the three dinners I had were excellent quality and very tasty. My room was very clean upon arrival , my bed sadly was very hard and uncomfortable but you don't go to such a scenic area to snooze it all away. I will definitely return.,
NIGEL, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Area has couple of restaurants and couple of fish and chips but mostly shut at 10 pm.
Raja Waqas, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was awesome and grest experience to stay here.

When I drove my car to the hotel with beautiful scenery on both sides, still wasn't sure I could find the hotel. Finally I've got to the destination. Surprised to see the traditional and wonderful hotel. If you trip to take public transportation, not easy to stay here. Room was very clean and quiet, but not enough warm. It was a bit cold in April in highland.
KICHUL, 1-night trip

Good choice for one or two nights, if you follow the Speyside Walk.spacy lobby, spacy rooms, good breakfast buffett.
