Not a good hard rock

Place is not a new place, but a renovation of an old hotel done in a poor design. Rooms are sub-par.. very small under 200 sq ft, even though it is advertised at 269. Place is dirty.. minimum staff at least at night.. air filter to the room was dirty

Hard Techno Hotel

We went for a stay in may to Hard Rock Hotel in Puerto Banus. Exellent service, very nice room, good breakfast and cool surroundings. We been to Hard Rock Hotels before, and one of the things we looked forward to, was chilling by the pool, to good rock music. We left the pool and the hotel area after 3 hours, where a DJ played very loud techno music. Not even when we returned in the evening, to get a drink in the bar, did they play rock music. We never before been to a Hard Rock Hotel, and not hearing rock music. An option could be to change the name to Hard Techno Hotel.

Great Hotel

Lovely stay at the Hard Rock. I needed a last minute hotel and this was perfect. Very clean and spacious hotel. Room was a good size with comfortable bedding. Spacious shower. Front desk staff were exceptional. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options!

Nice hotel but wonā€™t stay again.

When we checked in to our room, I tried calling reception and was on hold for 15 mins with no answer so had to physically head downstairs (which was a trek considering where our suite was). There was a weird loud vibration noise in the room every 20 mins or so which would sometimes wake me up at night. The shower temperature and pressure kept changing whilst it was on and the handwash bottle was broken. The upstairs poolside service was really slow and not because of the staff who were lovely, but because the hotel only had two staff working there. I also didnā€™t get any perks of being a Hotels.com gold member. The food was nice and the spa massage was relaxing. The staff were also friendly (just too busy). The location is also great, with nice restaurants in walking distance and a mini market opposite. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again, it did not live up to the Hard Rock name and there are nicer alternatives.

Warning ā€“ Avoid Room 1516 at Hard Rock Hotel

Avoid room 1516! There is loud plumbing noise all night ā€” I stayed one week and couldnā€™t sleep, even though I was there for work. When I checked in, they said the room was being ā€œchecked,ā€ but as soon as I entered, the wardrobe door fell on me ā€” could have been very dangerous. When I reported the noise, staff were defensive and rude instead of understanding. The manager offered only 20% off my next stay as ā€œcompensationā€ ā€” not acceptable. Also, itā€™s been almost three weeks and I still havenā€™t received my ā‚¬350 deposit refund (even though minibar charges were taken immediately). Please check your room number before check-in and avoid these rooms.

Lovely hotel, breakfast was unbelievable, service on the whole was good. The main bar was a great spot for evening drinks with the live music, drinks are reasonably priced. However, being outside of the summer season the pool bar was closed which was inconvenient when the wanting to order food and drinks. The spa is small and only available at a charge, quite surprising for such a large hotel. The tea/coffee in the room was not replenished, we were told we needed to pay for more so Iā€™d recommend others walk across the road to the shop and buy some there. 3 euros for a teabag was outrageous.
