2-night trip

8/10

Simple, cheap and clean in a great central location. Staff were lovely. Bed wasn't the comfiest, one of the lifts was out of service making the wait quite long. The shower bracket was broken, but it worked as long as you crouched.

I had a good stay at the ibis. It was my 3rd time. It is clean, a comfortable bed. Staff were nice. It is so close to everything. Eating out takeaway foods, shopping. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk. Bus stop opposite for where i had to go visiting my brother. I had breakfast the last day and enjoyed it. Lot of choice. The only thing i would say is i prefer a bathroom with no step.
2-night trip

6/10

It's fairly clean, comfortable an good value for money. One of the lifts is out of order and has been for a while so it does take ages to get to the top floors. The bathrooms always smell of urine as well.
2-night trip

8/10

Very good for what it cost. My only gripe was the toilet that gradually leaking into the toilet which caused the cistern to top up every 5 minutes. Something I didn’t realise until I was trying to sleep, which I could not hear! Was too late to ask for a room change then. Otherwise room was clean, bed was comfy. More than adequate for what I needed for a 1 night stay.

All fine and dandy
1-night trip

6/10

Very good value for the cost. I thought the breakfast very good with lots of choice available. I also like that they can stamp your car parking ticket to reduce £16 for 24 hrs parking to £7. If I had one niggle, it would be that the sound travels between rooms but it didn't affect our sleep.
1-night trip

10/10

Great staff at reception, accommodating and friendly, after a long delayed journey on a Bank Holiday Easter Sunday. Was able to retrieve quickly my online check-in and my two separate reservations for consecutive days. Visible improvements under the new management, with small but valuable ideas and consistency. Keep up the good job in this competitive market and the area.

It was basic but for the price I paid i was expecting that. It waa comfortable and the shower was amazing!!! Usually you dont have much room in a hotel shower but it was huge and so easy to change the temerpature which isnt always easy to do. Overall, i would stay here again.
