Amazing hotel, great location but the reception staff were not good. They were completely miserable and unfriendly or willing to help on every single interaction. It was the most unwelcome I had ever felt upon checking in and that continued through every single time I had to speak to them. Such a shame. Everything else was great, but the front desk staff bring everything down.

Hello, we have to ask several times during one day to make up our room. Staff on reception said "will do asap" and after 4 hours - nothing. Long check in, options early check in doesn't work even when they have available rooms. They block deposit on my card and to unblock i had to mail Hotel after two days, however during check out reception said that it will be unblocked immediately. Overall breakfast is good, rooms are big and has all nessesary, staff are friendly

The welcome and helpfulness of the staff is first class. They never gave the impression that a request is too much bother. We had requests for an extra chair and hangers and this was no problem, both provided promptly - as was the iron and a room clean. We had a situation with a wallet left in a taxi and the staff were empathetic, doing all they could to help locate the driver...and enquiring the following day as to whether it was found. The facilites are well maintained and the common areas execeptional in cleanliness and tidyness. I would recommend without hesitation

Superior room view

I had booked a superior room, room was big and quiet. For the room to be quiet is for me the most important thing, I do not care about balconies or wonderful views. I picked this hotel only because of some pictures i saw of the hotel gym online. Actually the gym was really good. Cleaning of the room was a bit random, some days i had to call their attention for them to clean my room. I just wonder if I, from my superior room (11th floor) had the view that can be seen in the photo, what view does a standard/classic room have, painted windows? Superior room is more expensive, logically the view should follow the price, or? Well, after all I slept really well in a comfy bed.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They also made some great recommendations for shopping and dining. Location is few steps from the famous fort which has one of the greatest views of copacabana.
