We originally were booked at the Hood River Hotel and it was so loud, we moved to this location. What a lovely property and great staff!! The manager let us check in early, and we were very appreciative. Would stay again!
Samantha, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

beautiful grounds, nice vintage hotel

Hotel grounds are peaceful and well maintained. Nice gardens to walk through and a great view of the Colombia River from in the back. Hotel is in good shape for being so old, and was surprisingly quiet inside. Room was comfortable except for the air conditioning - you couldn't redirect the air so if you were on that side of the bed it blew right on you, and it was hot if the AC wasn't on, so that was the main problem with the room comfort. The restaurant was definitely overrated - don't get the overpriced steaks. We asked for medium plus and got medium rare the first time, then well done the second.
