We had a great stay at the Falstaff, and enjoyed our trip. The only thing is that there is no A/C in the rooms, just a fan - which did not help very much for the heatwave. However, this just meant we spent more time out and enjoyed more of Canterbury - and all was well.

Place is fantastic been here before but I have not stayed in a cosy room before nothing was wrong with this room 58 other than me being 6ft plus kept hitting my head due to be in the loft eves of the hotel will have to ask if all the cosy room s are like this as planning to come back again and again through work commitments
