It would be nice for them to specify if these rooms are at the Inn or Lodge. They are close walking distance, but the lodge has better amenities. It is purely out of convenience because you can still use lodge facility if staying at the Inn. Beautiful area, great pool/hot tub, food is average, and excited to go back when kids are a little older for some fun on the beautiful mountains.

Public spaces, bar, restaurant and surroundings are beautiful. The pool and hot tub at the Lodge were highlights. Rooms are absolutely fine but decor is dated. Staff varied from charming and proactive (door man, bar tender and wait staff) to curt and unhelpful (both times the person at the front desk).

The Sun Valley Lodge was beautiful. Our room had a nice deck with view of Mt Baldy and the skating rink. The only thing better would have been to see skaters in action or a show but sadly we came after the ice shows ended. We enjoyed golfing at the Sun Valley Golf Club and loved the Trail Creek course.

We joined another couple at Sun Valley lodge to celebrate a birthday. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely and warm even though it was late April. Dinner was delicious. The historic pictures of actors and the art pieces were interesting. We will definitely stay in this iconic lodge again.

They had a little paper list and asked our name, they said ohhh you’re in the “inn” like we were dirt. They told us it’s a couple roads down. We went to the inn and the check in guy was a totally rude. Again treated us like trash. I asked a few questions about the restaurant and pool times, he replied rudely. We went to our room which was nice enough. Then back to the lodge for dinner. Dinner at Gretchen’s was great! Michael the server was the first normal and nice human we interacted with. Then my son asked if we could do ice skating so we go out and ask the concierge at the lodge who says she doesn’t do that and doesn’t know the price and gives us wrong directions to the skating area. We eventually find it and it’s too late and no one is there to get skates etc. The next morning at checkout we did finally have a nice lady concierge at the inn. It’s clear they get lots of rich customers and that’s who they prefer over the average customers like us who had been road tripping and hiking which is why we came here. Lesson learned, never again despite the cute town. I don’t enjoy spending my hard earned money to be looked down on.

Wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway. The property village has everything you could need and more. My wife enjoyed the spa while I enjoyed the skiing. The bartender Josh went above and beyond on my wife’s birthday. Hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Wonderful place - we spent a great weekend!

We were at the Sun Valley Inn which was great! There are 2 parts to it, the one next to the swimming pool/gym had a disinfectant smell to it - luckily we were in the other part which was perfectly fine.
