It is what it is, a cheap stay over before getting on eurotunnel, clean enough but very very tired, only a basic continental breakfast, the beer in the bar was off too

For the price it’s hard to be too critical but the decor and building were tired, there was a stale smell of green and our mattress was past its best, if you need an overnight that’s affordable with a bar and pool table and parking then it’s hard to beat

Used for placing an employee for the week. Asked them their honest opinion and they were quite impressed for the loney. Yes its a bit tired, a bit worn but for £30 a night it was very acceprable and we will be returning to using the hotel for the member of staff based upon their own request.

The staff was very helpful, but the rooms are very outdated and not very clean, but you can't complain about the price.

The view was great, the staff were all very friendly, however, the shower was broken and there was mould in the bathroom because there was little ventilation. There was damp in the corner of the room and the bed was on a slant on one side. The car park was gravel, extremely bumpy and needs to be repaved. Also there was no lift, and I didn't book an accessable room so I had to climb 2 sets of steep stairs

Shower was terible had to run for ages before any hot came through then it really hot. It says rooms cleaned daily but ours wasnt touched. The sink leaked so everytime you washed your hands you had water on the floor.
We sat outside and the smell of drugs is awful.
People sat in the doorway smoking so the smell was coming inside.

Very conveniently located but very budget type accomodation.
Greeted on arrival with the strong smell of weed as smokers directly outside front door.
Room was extremely basic and curtains, carpets and furnishings all very worn/ tired

You couldnt get more friendly people and so very nice . . The hotel is a bit dated but very clean . However the beds are way to thin so the sleep was a bit uncomfortable and walls are very thin so was awake at 6am listening to the neighbours radio. Perfect location for our trip.may stay there again

Bed clean. Room not. Bed hard and badly worn where it dipped and sloped so no sleep. Kettle had to be boiled on a chair in middle of room because lead and plug length and position. Boiling hot water in taps with no warning. One of us scalded ourselves as no basin plugs to help mix it to safe temp. No grip bars to climb in/out bath/shower. Holes and slopes in floors. So not able to safely shower which had to be positioned to use. Not safe. So no sleep. No shower. No price is worth that.
