Like no other!

One of my favorite places to stay. Love the decor of the lobby. The room set up is great and the staff very helpful. Restaurant is great and the lobby gift shop is wonderful with many treasures to pick from! A must stay if you are traveling especially Route 66.

We stay at this hotel every time we go through Gallup. It really does make our stay Excellent! The Hotel it’s like a gem from the past, and you can’t beat all of the pictures and stories on the walls from the wild West. Highly recommend!

No hesitation, will definitely stay again!

Stopped there because it was about halfway between Taos and Sedona, and wasn't expecting much. I enjoyed Hotel El Rancho SO much I definitely plan on staying there in the future!!! The staff was absolutely wonderful, and it's such a fun place!

Dated hotel but interesting.

Rooms are expansive although somewhat dated. Much movie star history exhibited by numerous pictures hung about the second floor. Interesting interior architecture. Elevator was somewhat clunky due to age but got the job done.

Historically Cool!

This was a fun, historic hotel experience. The food in the restaurant was not great, but it served its purpose!

Great place to stay

This was our second time staying here and it didn't disappoint. We will return. The rooms are clean. The staff is very inviting, kind and super nice. We have more family wanting to go with us next time we stay here. It's a relaxing place for all.

Historic and Fun

Nice place for the history behind it. The lobby is amazing and the restaurant/bar is really good. The room could use some maintenance and the housekeeping could use some training. The bathroom is tiny. The shower is OK.

A Hollywood Western Classic

This hotel is so fun and unique. We like the classic 1950's retro hotels of the southwest and this is one of the best examples we've encountered. Clean and friendly but the room was small. That was the only negative.

Loved the Old Hollywood Ambiance!!!

We absolutely loved the ambiance of this hotel. It was like stepping back in time with the old school elevator and the Hollywood pics on the walls, the old school balcony and decor in the rooms and throughout the entire property. Would definitely come here again! The only thing we didn't enjoy was the small space, with the king bed only accessible from one side (up against the wall) and the industrial toilet in an already tiny bathroom (you could literally lean your head on the sink while sitting on the toilet) Q

Route 66 historic western hotel

A funky historic hotel with lots of character…and a warm fireplace in the great room. Beds were comfortable, we were in a smaller (king size) bedroom and both the room and bathroom were rather small. The restaurant next door was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. We will return.
