Absolutely beautiful location with a 10min hike to mystico hanging bridges. The staff are so accommodating and the restaurant serves flavorful food. Approximately 20min from the town of la fortuna which makes you feel secluded. Would definitely stay again!

The view from the room/hotel is everything. You can do lots of bird watching right from your balcony and there’s lots of wonderful wildlife around the grounds. The food was excellent breakfast as well as the dinner, really great quality food. Staff were helpful if needed something. It’s a little remote so you have to be willing to arrange shuttles or taxis if you don’t have a car. Also need to be able to walk around the grounds to get to places, but if you struggle or have luggage they arrange golf carts for people

I went here for a mother-daughter trip. Our stay at The Lost Iguana Resort and Spa was lovely- the room was clean, the check in staff was very welcoming. The pool bartender and the spa staff were gracious. We stayed in a room with a view of the Volcano. Even the breakfast and dinners at the restaurant there was very good. Overall, we had an amazing experience.

Large room, Friendly staff, near to Arenal hanging gardens but location about 30 minutes away from town. So due to winding roads, we stayed for dinner at resort. The restaurant had limited options as it was Xmas week. Otherwise, breakfast buffet was good.
