Arriving late at night, the resort nestled in the heart of the desert felt even more magical under the starry sky. From the moment I stepped into reception, I was warmly welcomed. My room was clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything I needed. Waking up to the breathtaking desert view was a moment I will never forget. The expansive pool and comfortable sunbeds provided the perfect escape from the midday heat. During my stay, I had breakfast every day at Zala restaurant, where every staff member was friendly and attentive. I especially want to thank Amro, who took such great care of me throughout all three mornings—his kindness made every breakfast feel special. At the poolside bar, Jimmy became a truly wonderful friend during my trip. He made my time by the pool extra memorable and was incredibly helpful, supporting me through both small concerns and bigger needs. I sincerely thank him. On my final night, I enjoyed a special dinner at Al Hadheerah, where Chef Tanveer’s roast chicken paired perfectly with the live performance—an unforgettable experience. This stay was not just a getaway—it was healing for both my body and soul. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to every staff member at Bab Al Shams. I will definitely return again.

Wonderful staycation in the desert

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel shares a similar aesthetic and atmosphere with Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi, but with a cozier feel and modern touches that we really enjoyed. The service was impeccable. While the food didn't quite reach the heights of some luxury hotels we've experienced, it wasn't a major drawback, and the overall experience was fantastic.

This was an amazing property with very attentive staff. I would especially like to recognize Sayeem for taking care of us by the pool. The resort itself is so clean and beautiful. It was a very unique experience. My only issue was the cost of the food, water and coffee.
