This hotel is literally 2 minutes walk to Masjid al Haram. You walk down the hotel steps and you're on the white tiles. They also have their own prayer room. Let me start with a positive. The location of the hotel in proximity to the Haram is unparalleled. I traveled with my elderly mother and I wanted to make sure we got something close. It is hands-down the best location. It is definitely worth paying a little more and getting a room with a Haram view. The hotel itself is outdated. We opted to buy the breakfast package and was very disappointed. There are plenty of places to eat around and I would not recommend buying the breakfast package. The club lounge is also a waste of money. The staff at the hotel was friendly but do not expect anyone to go above and beyond.
